Promotions, pinning ceremonies, retirements, reenlistments, changes of command and other military milestones represent so much more than what happens during the ceremony itself.
They represent years of early mornings, long days, time away from family, hard work and sacrifice.
I'll document the traditions and formal moments that matter while also watching for everything happening around them—the proud spouse, the kids watching from the front row, the congratulations afterward and the people who helped make the journey possible.
Because some milestones deserve more than a phone photo.
